BYU Women's Conference

The time has come to see which authors are interested in participating in the BYU Women's Conference this year!

Anyone is free to nominate themselves, with the final decision--of course--being made by BYU.

All authors who are interested, PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT on this post so that anyone who needs to see the list of eager authors can all come to one place and see it!

Happy February and keep up the great work!

  1. I'd love to be a part of BYU's Women's Conference this year, especially since the main audience for Infertility: Help, Hope, and Healing is women. The book is perfect for women who are dealing with infertility and for friends, mothers, and sisters who know someone dealing with infertility. It is also a great parable for anyone struggling with a trial of mortality.

Since women are at Women's Conference to gain strength and perspective as they face the challenges of life, books and authors offering help and guidance are a must!!

  2. I've attended BYU Women's Conference for years, and would love to be one of the presenters! I've taught at BYU-I Education Week for a couple of years and the classes that were particularly popular with women were: "How to stay UP in a DOWN economy: Earning/Saving Money", "How to stand for truth and righteousness without getting blisters", "My future's so bright I gotta wear my stunna shades at night", "Helping Youth Shine in a Dark world", "Thinking Outside the Green Gelatin Box: strengthening Relief Society", and "Feeding His lambs: Strengthening the Primary".

My 2 oldest sons are BYU students, so any excuse to go to Provo is always a blessing to me!

  3. I would definitely like to sign at BYU Women's Conference. I have attended for the past two years, and feel like the attendees are the perfect audience for "Life's Alphabet Soup: When Your Children Make You Eat Your Words"

  4. I'd love to take part in this wonderful conference.
I have a few special presentations with music themed around my upcoming book, Lost Children: Coping with Miscarriage for Latter day Saints.
I have several topics I could present: "Understanding the plan of salvation and the imperfectness of our world." & "Mourning with Those that Mourn. Comforting those in Need of Comfort."
I also am passionate about the topic: Dreaming the dream--Achieving Your Goals.
And I love to encourage women to embrace the fact that we are all daughters of God no matter how many children we have or don't have, and especially when we will feel we're being punished because of our trials.

  5. I would love the opportunity to speak at the BYU Women’s Conference this year. "Cyber Safety: Maintaining Morality in a Digital World" is all about helping parents understand how our children are using technology, as well as what parents can do to help keep their families safe when using that technology. I have presented on this topic for various ward and stake firesides, as well as community events, and would love the chance to share this presentation with the conference attendees. I provide not only education about the issues, but pragmatic suggestions that people can implement immediately to help protect their families in this digital world.

  6. What a great group of authors we have! I'd love to be apart of BYU Women's Conference this year. It would be a perfect fit for my book, "Women of Virtue." Women of all ages can find worthwhile inspiration and guidance about living virtuous in an un-virtuous world. If opportunities ever arose to present on the subject of virtue, that would be wonderful. But if it's book signing we're talking about, count me in. I would welcome any opportunity to further the message that there is "beauty in virtue." Thanks for letting us know about this.

  14. I would love to be a presenter at BYU Women's Conference! It would be great to be back at BYU. Sister Beck said women need to learn to cook and keep a budget. I've given workshops on the topics "Menus & Budgets: Control it Simply" and "Build-a-Meal For Less." It's fun discussing with women how to feed a family healthy meals for $1 per person per day (without clipping coupons:)).
